Trigony House is a friendly and luxurious Scottish Country Hotel nestled in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway. Sitting amongst beautiful woodland and romantic gardens this relaxed country house hotel offers excellent rustic cuisine, served by friendly local staff, and concierge services extend to organising a range of activities, including cycle hire, relaxing spa treatments, horse riding, and falconry.
Within the grounds of Trigony House is the exclusive boutique micro spa, a separate, private space that guests can book for the ultimate spa experience. Here you can enjoy stunning views from the wood fired Swedish hot tub, Finnish sauna cabin, and other treatment areas. Be sure to try some of the organic products from the Ishga range – an iconic Scottish company, endorsed by the Soil Association. The name Ishga is derived from the gaelic word for water. Products are high in natural antioxidants and anti-ageing properties, created from organic seaweed that has been hand harvested from the Hebrides – which is proud to boast some of the cleanest waters in the world.
Guests can choose from 9 well-appointed rooms, each one unique and delightfully different. Rooms differ in terms of size and layout, but all are en-suite. Classic rooms are either double or twin bedded and look out over the gardens at the front of the hotel, or the courtyard and woodland at the back of the hotel. If you want something extra-special the Garden Suite is the largest room, located on the ground floor; it has a king-sized sleigh bed with views over the Kier hills to the South-West, it comes complete with its own conservatory and a private garden.
